Shipping information
The ATF allows an individual to ship a firearm to any (FFL licensed) repair station or gunsmith for repair without going through a dealer and have that same firearm shipped directly back to the same person , no dealer or permit is required on the customers end
Shipping Instructions:
Please call or e-mail me before you send your firearm in for work being done. I like to know it is being sent so I can plan my work schedule. Also I would prefer you E-mail me WHEN YOU SHIP as I will then save THAT E-mail to use for contacting you with my progress on the work being done as well as to inform you of my shipping it back to you. Try it , as this works great.
Have the gun sent "adult signature required". This ensures that the package will not be left somewhere unauthorized , but that it is signed for at delivery.
When I send your gun back, it will be sent "signature required" also. I will not ship to a P.O. Box. as I must have a physical street address for shipment.
For shotgun barrel work only, all that is needed is your barrel. Just wrap your barrel in newspaper or bubble wrap and place it in a sturdy box, be sure to seal it securely and be sure to enclose a note inside the package indicating the work you desire. Include your name, address, and telephone number along with a check or money order for services to be rendered, and an additional $15.00 fee for return shipping. You may send your package by the United Postal Service, or UPS. The turn around time for services is usually 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the amount of work to be done and your shipping location.
If payment for services to be rendered are sent , Please make the check or money order out to:
